Hello to goodbye

My inability to string words along together because the thoughts in me are bubbling volcano infuriates me and since so, I shall just pen down the main events for these past months that I've been gone.

I caught Inch Chua during the Singapore art's festival and oh goodness.. What other words are there even available to be used to describe just how darn awesome and over the top she really is? None, no words at all. I think one of the few artists that she covered and is still in my memory are Shiina Ringo, The Beatles and this Singapore local band called Caracal. I must say I preferred her cover of Caracal and The Beatles on her youtube instead of that night itself but the new change ain't that bad. I think many of us were dying for an encore but I suppose she had to rush off or so. I was hoping for her to play her original songs too but man, what a good 45 minutes. Definitely one of a upcoming local artist. Hats off to you Inch Chua. May you prosper.

And then there was hello to Arab street and Little India. How I just love those walls of paints that just doesn't seem to make much sense but still spills beauty out of them and also not to forget the carts of fresh and unfresh tied flowers with fragance coming off from them with stall holders constantly tying and untying those lovely and vibrant flowers. Oh how they just brighten your day really! For Arab street, I was introduced to Karu by Agnes and it was a good day really. Thoughts of pipe smoking with Tim giving the green light (how impossible I know), Endless shopping, same pencil cases, Kebabs and naan dough for the pizza, tea and loadsa tea, stealing of balloon and bah kut teh etc. Wonderful. Little India were stories and crowds, Banana leaf's indian food and my very good indian buddy along with his family. As wonderful too.

I feel there are much more to fill into this cobwebbed space but like I said, it's just words but not sentences. Terrible. Oh I re-read Proof for the third time and I felt such presence of emotion for it but how hard it is to describe. Like how a year old toddler would like a certain something or thinks a certain something but is tongue tied. Told you the light in me ain't flickering no more and here the time comes where I should reinforce again on how patience really is a virtue.
