Simple things

I miss the simple things. I miss hearing the water boil away, TV in the background and lying by your side. I miss the smell of your skin in the early mornings. Knowing as I'm fast asleep, the love of my life lays deep in sleep by my side with your arms embracing me. I don't take these simple things for granted, to be honest I don't think I ever will.
