Team Haylen

A lot has been going on. I feel like I say this all the time whenever I’m back in this space. But truly in just a span of a week or two, so much has already happened that I find it hard to accurately write it all down. Today has been one of the most amazing day, we set up a temporary store over at Havelock II to clear the A series batch, went to look at offices for Haylen. And goddamit I feel like it’s all so surreal. Offices, I mean are you kidding me?? Who would ever knew that bubba and I, along with Munirah (his sister and our co-founder) would search for offices 4 months down the road.

The 2nd office we saw was incredible. An infinity pool up on the highest floor and a pretty shabby cardio area but goddamnit the view is incredible. By the time it all ended it was already close to 7pm. We’ve been discussing all night about the finances as well as if we’d be able to go for this office that we’re all so incredibly in love with. Tomorrow will be the final viewing for the offices tomorrow and the boy will make his mind up once and for all.

Also, a couple of days ago we received a beautiful hamper from Vasantham as well for being their main sponsor for an upcoming drama on April. We worked out marketing plans with them and I can’t find a better word than just how surreal it all is.

Met Abbas from Forbes 30 under 30 too and he seemed to be impressed by the way we run Haylen with just 3 people in the team. Was a really Long meeting but a very insightful one for both Abbas as well as Bubs and I. I literally have all the photos to put up here but it’ll take some time perhaps when I’ve got more time on my hands. For now, a quick update for my older self would suffice.

For all of these, I’m extremely thankful for have the boy by my side guiding me through patiently, being the brainchild behind us. Who would ever get so fortunate to find a Best Friend in their lover, someone to chase goals together with? ( the list continues truly).  The sacrifices and struggle, the quarrels over littlest things when we’re so overwhelmed is something that not everybody can understand. And I’ve never found a man like bubba who could withstand Such pressure. I’ve learnt so much from him. These things, I’ll never be able to learn in the outside world. I’m ready to sacrifice till the end with the team.

Let’s go, let’s dive head in for a better future. Let’s hustle now, let the haters and doubters carry on. We’ll reach our goals slowly but surely.
